I was so excited to get my hands on a copy of the newly released, Learn With Play: 150+ Activities for Year-round Fun and Learning, that I immediately dug in and started trying out some of the activities with my three year old. This book that is loaded with fun and educational activities for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners is a collaboration by over 90 authors from the Kid Blogger Network (most of whom I already follow because of their consistently useful and inspiring high quality content).

I usually spend a significant amount of time scouring the internet for fun and educational activities to do with my daughter. Now that I have Learn With Play, I no longer need to waste time doing that. I simply turn to the table of contents and skim through the themes or concepts I’m interested in and bingo, I have an idea for an activity. Most of the activities use regular household items, so I can pull an activity together in no time at all. Take a peak for yourself.
Learn With Play comes in three formats; a paperback book, an ebook, and a Kindle edition. Each format has its own advantage. The hard copy of the book was designed with colored dots in the margin to show the intended age for the activity. The pages also include the URL for the author’s website where you’ll find more great ideas.
Each of the activities in the Kindle and ebook editions come with two extra links to similar learn-through-play activities also designed by that author. So you’re really getting over 500 activities to do with your kids. If you purchase the ebook by July 14, 2015, you will receive the $5 launch discount.
ebook edition Launch Special $9.95 through 7/14/15, regularly $14.95
kindle edition through Amazon $14.95
print edition through Amazon $26.95
I love the convenience of having all of these fun and educational activities in one book. They are quality activities that tell what skills the child will be working on with a clear set of instructions and material list as well as helpful full color photographs. Many of the activities also come with ideas on how to vary it. This means my daughter can come back to an activity and do it in a new way. I’m excited that my daughter can grow with this book and use it for years to come!
